We took the family to the Prattville Mardis Gras Parade this past weekend. We are used to the craziness of the big parades of the Gulf Coast and New Orleans- so I have to say the Prattville Parade being much smaller was such a nice treat!! It was a very family friendly event and not overly crowded. The kids had a great time and didn't get shoved around trying to catch the throws. We also felt safe letting our 15 year old walk around downtown with his friends during the parade. So far we are loving it here in Prattville- afterall it is the "Preferred Community"!!!
